Luckily, Shelby's niece & nephew was there to keep her company... here they are watching the horses come through the walk-way to the paddock. She would wave so big, and most would wave back... oh, the things you appreciate when you have a little one!
Ryan was such a trooper! She got a little fussy when it was time for her to lay down, she was pretty much telling us she wanted to be in HER bed and not this crummy stroller. Here she is enjoying some time with her Gibbie!

They were literally loading the horses in the gate when Kella announced she needed to 'potty'... poor thing, here she is 'holding it' until the race was over....
Unfortunately, the horse had been a little sick the weeks prior to the race. Sick, meaning he had a cough. Though he had been feeling better that day and a few days before, he still wasn't 100% for the race. We didn't win, place or show, so anything past that I really don't know the exact order they came in. We have 1 month before he runs again (end of May), so hopefully that's plenty of time for a full recovery. The night was still fun and after a long day, we packed up the girls and headed back home leaving OKC around 11:30pm and getting home at 3am!!! Needless to say, we had a bunch of sleepy heads on Sunday. It was still a fun, fun weekend!
