Easter

Needless to say, I'm not doing too good at keeping up with my goal of blogging at least once a week... it's 40min til Friday and I am just now posting our Easter pics from last weekend....

Here are Kella's treats for her class... they didn't do an Easter egg hunt in her age group (that's next year!), but they did have a "Hunt for Jesus" party, which was, no doubt, just as fun! She helped me make the rice crispy treats with sprinkles!

On Thursday she recieved another Easter package from Grandma Dottie and Poppo Stan in Nebraska. (Remember the singing duck in package #1.?!?!? somehow I think he got lost in the closet =))

Yum!!! Candy and 2 bubble toys along with a new outfit for Ryan!

We had to play with the princess bubble sword right away!

Trying to figure out where all the bubbles are going - it was a pretty windy day.

Friday night we headed to Uncle Julio's for some world famous (or Dallas famous) fajitas!!! We went with Heather & Chad, who were entertaining Chad's family from LA. They were so sweet to bring Kella her belated birthday slash Easter present! Thanks guys!
Here's Carol getting her grandbaby fix with Miss Ryan!!!!!!!!

Then on Saturday we headed to Insync Exotics. A family (who are patients of Kipp's) are part owners of one of the U.S.'s largest wildlife rescue. They have 100's of tigers, lions & bobcats. We got to be front & center with these guys (and gals).

We had to leave this exhibit... because most of these animals were abused by male's, they typically don't respond well when they see one... this tiger didn't care for Kipp and started growling. They trainer asked us to "move along" since he was about to pounce against the cage wall...YIKES! Way to go, Kipper!
Kella greeting the Easter bunny.

Waiting in line for the face painting...trust me, it wasn't worth it....
Guess we should've asked if she'd painted a butterfly before....
Guess not... poor baby! Oh well, she felt BEAUTIFUL and that's all that mattered!

Enjoying the bouncy house...
And finally, the egg hunt...

All in all, it was a long, but fun day! I will (hopefully) get the pics up from Easter Sunday soon!
