Easter Sunday...or part 2

So, I don't have the same "traditions" as Kipp when it comes to Easter, which is a good thing. Saturday night, we were going through all the "surprises" that awaited our sleeping beauty... when he looked at my purchases, he asked "where's the chocolate bunny, where's all the candy, where's this? and that? Jeez! I told him we didn't do this when I was little, the idea of the Easter Bunny making his way in the trails of Santa didn't exist in the Myers' household, I got a few fun toys that she would be more than happy with, what's the big deal ... we then got to reminisce some of his favorite things about his Easters past...
Kipp: "my dad would hide shoes in the trees"
Me: "why would he put your shoes in the trees?"
Kipp: "they were NEW! if there were a pair of shoes we'd been wanting, they would surprise us with them"
Jodi: "well, sure, we would hunt for eggs, but it's because me & my cousins would take turns hiding them so the others could find them"
Kipp: "dad would hide all sorts of things all over the yard and we couldn't wait to get up, go out and find what had been left"

Needless to say, Kipp ran to Walgreens around 10pm to finish off my inappropriately stocked Easter basket.
Here's Kella the morning of, it was a little chilly out, so don't mind the sweater & pants under her gown!
There's that darn chocolate bunny hiding in the flower bed!
And look! there's a basket of goodies on the swing set!
I have to say, the headband with colored hair has been the biggest hit! She calls it her "long hair!"

Kella has taken on a new love for clocks in the past couple of months. We have figured out how to work this to our advantage. We can say "when this hand gets right here on the 3 you can do this/that/eat a snack" or whatever she's wanting at the moment. It is especially good at nap & bedtime. Here she is listening to her new Hello Kitty clock for her room!
Here she is trying one of my favorite candies -POP ROCKS! They, well, ROCK!!!
Dad loves them too!

Loves the new bubble machine.

Gettin' sprayed with the silly string.
Ryan's first Easter!
Here she is sporting the new hair!
We had a great morning playing with all the new toys and eating way too much candy! We ended up going to the evening service at church, per the request of our pastor and had dinner instead of lunch at good 'ole Cracker Barrel!!!
