Fun with the girls!

I had just changed Ryan's diaper, laid her on the floor of her room and stepped out. When I came back in, Kella had "decorated" R with their fancy crowns! She was so proud of herself, so this in turn, became a mini-photo-session. These are the moments I adore with my favorite girls! R is such a trooper, I couldn't capture it, but she was laughing right along side K the whole time! Ahhh... sweetness!

The gifts that keep on giving...

Okay... I got this idea from my brilliant cousin, Candace. Because K gets so many Christmas presents I decided to store a portion of them to be brought out later. Let's face it, she really doesn't remember opening them all, so this way its a new surprise when I pull them out. We had a beautiful, sunny, warm day yesterday (Friday), so I have been saving her new PLASTIC tea party set (gift from Uncle Bran & Aunt Shelby!) to use in her playhouse. We had a metal set with cute wicker basket, but these didn't always get brought in and are now a rusted mess. Hence, the request for a plastic set for C-mas. Her face was priceless when I brought out the 52 piece set!!! We had a great time cooking, drinking and playing house in, well, HER house!

Fancy, huh?!

Another toy we broke out was her new play dough kit. I think Kipp enjoys this as much as she does. Check out his giraffe!!! Way to go dad!

Gator!

With a little help from dad, K made this amazing fish!!!
(I love how we can forever remember the horrific transformation of our beloved Heidi Montag in the background!)

Boys will be boys!

Kipp and a few others (6 to be exact) took a ski trip to Copper Mountain. The snow wasn't the best, but they still had a great time. The guys stayed in an amazing house right on the slops, which sounds like its going to be an annual destination. The house has 6 bedrooms, with a loft and sleeps up to 20 people. What a great place for a group trip!
Mom came down to stay with me & the girls ( I love saying that by the way!). A fun weekend had by all!!!
The first pics are after Kipp came back. K had a great time wearing his new helmet. She thought it was the COOLEST!

One day she'll thank me!

Just before Kella's bath, she came out to show me how much she loves my boots. I have a picture of me, naked in my daddy's boots when I was about 3 years old. I had to snap this so she could have the same memory!

10 weeks today!

Little Ryan turned the big 10 weeks old today. We were invited to the "Materna-tea" at the Birth Center. Usually its held once a month, hosting all the new moms & babies born the previous month. Because of the holidays, today's tea hosted those babies born the end of Oct and Nov & Dec babies. We munched on snacks while each mom told their "birth experience". I feel very lucky to be part of such a special place with such history. I get asked all the time about what goes on there, what's the protocol, what about pain medicine, are you in a bath tub (jeez!), what if there's complications etc. etc.... Because I have been fortunate enough to have fairly easy births, I'm not really sure how to answer. Most of the stories I heard today had either complicated labor, births or both. A couple of the girls ended up being admitted to Baylor hospital. It was so interesting to hear how it was handled, procedures that were avoided allowing these women to have a delivery like they had hoped for, whether Cherie delivered them at the BC or hospital. I have complete confidence in Cherie & her staff, which is not the feeling I get from some doctors I've seen. What a special day!
We ended our visit with the traditional circle of babies. So, so sweet!

Get your popcorn ready!

Today I noticed Ryan was tuned into Kella's DVD player, so I propped her up and Kella quickly scooted over to show little sis the device she has grown to love... her "little movie".

I love Ryan's face in this, so serious...

these "monsters vs. aliens" mean business!

Cannonball!!!

YEAH!!! Pool time!!! One day your playin in the snow, then next your goin swimming! On our way home from Nebraska we stayed in a swanky, new Holiday Inn in Somewhere, Oklahoma. Kella was pumped about the pool and I was just as pumped about the hot tub, but to my disappointment was out of commission during our stay. Booooo!!!

Ryan was in a super good mood too, she is really starting to smile a make lots of squeaks & coo's. What a sweetie!

Here's a shot with big sis once we made it home from all of our travels.
